Owls & Pheasants

I was inspired to make these little owls one October night sitting in my garden under a huge full moon listening to Tawny owls.  The night was warm despite it being late autumn, and I was thinking about  how owls were considered to be symbols of the Great Goddess during paleolithic times.

I was thinking that someone living 30.000 years ago would  have been sitting in the warm autumn night just like me;  looking up at the moon, sipping a drink, listening to the Owls and feeling slightly spooked.
I hope you like my owls and pheasants – they make great gifts and I usually mail them within 24 hours of receiving your order.
